Age has always ticked whether we decide to take note of the passing time or ignore its presence.

I've taken a journey through life and made a choice to live a life that matters. Most often, I took baby steps. At other times, I was overwhelmed by the giant strides.

As I celebrate another birthday today:
I choose to count my blessings!
I choose to look through my outstanding testimonies!
I choose to turn a blind eye to the storms!
I choose to climb the mountains that blocks my way!
I choose to swim through the valleys of life to come out strong on the other side!
I choose to demolish every obstacle that halts my progress!
I choose to allow the greatness in me shine out!
I choose to be a blessing to as many that cross my path!
I choose to enjoy each day as it comes!
I choose to be graceful in my charisma and character!
I choose to be ME and leave a good legacy.

What do you choose to be as you grow older? When you live to please others while you wallow in self pity and emptiness, you are depriving yourself of the greater good.

If you don't take time to write down your blessings, you might forget about all of them. Suddenly, problems come along and you get caught up in it that you may begin to act like you have never been blessed before.

Love yourself, be dedicated and determined to live a fulfilled life. Ask yourself whether you are on course. If there is anything that is stopping you from living your purpose, make the decision to let it go.
